The commission has launched a comprehensive Property Law Reform Initiative to address contemporary challenges in property ownership, transfer, and management in Lagos State.
This reform will examine issues including land registration, property rights documentation, inheritance laws, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Our goal is to create a modern property law framework that protects rights while facilitating legitimate property transactions.
Public consultations will be held across the state to gather input from property owners, traditional institutions, legal practitioners, and other stakeholders.
